  • Descrição: Unveiling what the Minister of International Trade said was the largest advanced manufacturing export win in Canadian history, officials Feb. 14 revealed a potential $13 billion deal for General Dynamics Land Systems-Canada [GD] with Saudi Arabia for vehicles and associated equipment and support. The contract is for new Light Armored Vehicles (LAVs) and will start with a design and development phase. The first of the vehicles will roll out sometime in 2016, General Dynamics said. The contract was facilitated by the Canadian Commercial Corp., (CCC), Canada's international government-to-government contracting organization.
