Descrição:
The creators of smart applications have named them Intelligent Agents and their place in the future of personal computing seems assured. In fact, some would assert that Intelligent Agents are already a crucial part of the computer application landscape today. But can such software truly be considered intelligent? Most professionals concur that a true Intelligent Agent must possess 4 crucial traits: Autonomy, proactivity, adaptability, and sociability. While none of the software agents around today incorporate every aspect of a true Intelligent Agent, current research in the field is tending toward the development of multi-agent systems (MAS). Intelligent agent systems are still a speck on the horizon, and those that use the term Intelligent Agent to describe current technologies are using it somewhat incorrectly.
