  • Description: It is impossible to advance on the critical understanding of architecture in the 20th century without going through Le Corbusier. Situationists were perfectly aware of this and moved by an avid desire to radically transform life and cities, sought to understand, criticize and overcome Le Corbusier's character and work. This text collects, chronologically, all the occasions in which this central personality of architecture and urbanism features in the Situationist International magazines, as well as in the Potlach magazine, of the International Lyricist, predecessor of the Situationist.
    Impossível avançar sobre o entendimento crítico da arquitetura no século XX sem passar por Le Corbusier. Os situacionistas sabiam perfeitamente disto e, movidos por ávida vontade de transformar radicalmente a vida e as cidades, buscaram compreender, criticar e superar a figura e a obra de Le Corbusier. Este texto recolhe, de modo cronológico, a totalidade das as vezes em que esta figura central da arquitetura e do urbanismo aparece nas revistas da Internacional Situacionista, bem como na revista Potlach, da Internacional Letrista, antecessora da Situacionista.
