Descrição:
The authors state that in some cases it is possible to match this type of mark in bone to an individual weapon.5 Tool marks are highly variable, being affected by several factors including the handedness of the perpetrator, the force applied, angle of impact, the bone quality, and skeletal area involved.6 In analyses of tool marks, the class characteristics of the implement must be established--that is, the features that indicate the general type of tool.
